UPDATE:
Branson finishes second at the Springfield Holiday Baseball Tournament as they lost to Willard in the finals 7-2. Earlier in the day, Branson had knocked off Mountain Home in the semi-finals 10-9 to play in the championship game.

Branson had five players named to the All-Tournament Team, Pitchers Daniel Bott and Sam Perez, Shortstop Tyler Whiteis, Outfielder Parker O'Dell, and Utility Player Cody Hull.

Branson will next play in a tournament in Topeka, Kansas beginning Thursday.

Saturday Recap:
The Branson Summer Baseball team joins two other area teams as part of the Final Four of the Springfield Holiday Tournament. Branson edged out Independence Hi-Boy 5-4 to advance to today's semi-finals joining Springfield Hillcrest and Willard. Mountain Home rounds out the final four with today's Semi-final match-ups at Meador Park to feature Willard and Hillcrest at 9:00 followed by Branson and Mountain Home at 11:30. The Tournament Championship Game will be played at 2:00.
