Pace says according to witnesses, Keeton began to struggle while swimming in Bull Shoals Lake. Witnesses were able to pull him ashore, and first responders tried to revive him, but were unsuccessful. Keeton was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Water Patrol division of the Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a drowning in Bull Shoals Lake.
According to the Taney County Sheriff’s Office, a man’s body was recovered Wednesday night near Shadow Rock Park.
The victim’s name has not been released. The man had reportedly been swimming in the lake.
