A jury trial is scheduled in September for a Taney County man charged with rape.

Thirty-three year old Lonnie Pickle was charged after Merriam Woods police responded in July of 2011 to a report that a woman had been raped.

Pickle was located in January of this year in Chattanooga, Tennessee and returned to Taney County to face charges.

Pickle’s trial was scheduled last week for September 17^th.  He remains in the Taney County Jail on 50-thousand dollars bond.
